The Marshall Bluesbreaker 2 is a great pedal when used in ‘Boost’ mode but thin sounding when you kick in the Blues Drive selector.
The Dexter Mods Full Cream Mod for this pedal gives it a fuller bottom end on the drive channel as well as adding volume and fullness to the pedal overall. I change the clipping section as well to give a thicker, more responsive overdrive as well.
The sound is a major improvement on the stock pedal’s trebley fizz and gives it a warmer and creamier sound when used for overdrive.
And it still sounds great just as a boost pedal.
The mod includes an extra bright blue L.E.D instead of stock red L.E.D and a brand new 9 volt battery.
